Current verified version
v0.1.48.17626 — October 9, 2026
Wild Dog published the Day 1 update announcement alongside Early Access. This page summarizes confirmed changes in original wording. It is not a verbatim replacement for the full developer changelog.
“Latest verified” means the newest numerical version found in the announcements checked on October 10. It is not a claim that we have installed every build or tested every fix.
Cooking and service changes
| Area | Confirmed launch-patch change |
|---|---|
| Cutting boards | Aim at a placed board and right-click to secure or release it; secured boards still support cutting. |
| Tare bottles | Carry up to five bottles together; pour into ramen while holding only one. Stacks display the next item’s remaining amount or condition. |
| Beer | Beer plus foam at or below 70% of mug capacity receives the insufficient-amount penalty. No foam triggers a comment without its own point deduction. |
| Beer tutorial | A completely filled mug is no longer required; relevant earlier actions can count. |
| Rice bowls | Chashu Rice Bowl and Chashu and Green Onion Rice Bowl names and icons better match toppings; unintended heating from raw rice placement is fixed. |
| Gyoza | A loaded game no longer leaves affected gyoza stuck on the grill in the fixed case. |
| Orders | Chicken- or pork-broth Tantanmen orders are added at level 26; beef-broth Tantanmen at level 28. |
See beer rules for the exact threshold, and the level and ingredient table for purchase versus order eligibility. The patch does not provide a complete quantity-based ramen recipe database.
Staff, storage and shop management
Dish-clearing staff collect dishes, trays and empty drink bottles; collected empty bottles are disposed of automatically. Dirty dishes can be thrown into the plate rack of the dish-clearing staff dishwasher. The placement preview shows the employee’s waiting position.
Refrigerator contents remain at the end of the day even if the door is open. Food on the sample shelf also remains. These statements do not prove that every item elsewhere in the kitchen persists.
Other management changes include:
- Critics can be invited before opening; an unavailable invitation explains the timing condition.
- The first clear of each boss now awards cash; the announcement does not state the amounts.
- For the same order and rating, Easy customer payment becomes 1.4 times its previous amount and Normal becomes 1.2 times its previous amount. Hard and Very Hard remain unchanged.
- Egg cartons are limited to six per purchase; another purchase is possible after completing the first.
- Wide Noren supports My Designs, equipment names appear during building, and design mode cannot be entered while placing or moving an item.
Those payment multipliers compare with the pre-patch behavior. They are not a ratio between Easy and Normal or a profit formula.
Controls, carts and multiplayer
The controller right stick scrolls the newly unlocked list. HUD scaling now reaches 1.3 in 0.1 increments. Cart interaction range and handling are improved, including steering when reversing with remaining forward movement; carts no longer push seated customers.
Online failures show causes, suggested actions and an error code. Invite-code search, automatic room search and joining synchronization receive changes. Mute and push-to-talk settings apply immediately when joining.
For an unresolved timeout, use the connection checklist. A fixed-issue entry does not guarantee that a later error has the same cause.
Graphics and tutorial fixes
The announcement includes FSR initialization and frame-generation crash fixes. It also changes several tutorial checks so relevant actions completed earlier can count, and fixes a nori-ramen progress issue. It does not supply FPS benchmarks or a universal crash remedy.
Release history
| Date | Event | Status |
|---|---|---|
| September 28 | Earlier release timing delayed during Steam review. | Historical; superseded |
| October 5 | Developer confirms the October 9 launch and launch-price announcement. | Official release confirmation |
| October 9 | Windows Steam Early Access launches; Day 1 numerical update is published. | Current baseline |
The historical delay notice should not be used to describe the game as unreleased. The platform, price and demo reference contains the dated purchasing facts.
How this tracker is updated
A new version requires a new official announcement or otherwise verifiable build information. We then review affected guides and change their review dates only when their contents have actually been checked. Unrelated articles do not receive artificial date bumps.
