Japanese Ramen Simulator: Broth & Tare: Preparation and Bottle Handling
Prepare broth and handle tare bottles using confirmed launch-patch rules, including carrying five bottles and pouring while holding one.
How do broth and tare affect ramen quality?
Broth choice belongs to the ordered dish, while soup temperature, aroma and umami are among the game’s stated quality factors. Use the order and current ingredient information to guide preparation. The official sources do not provide exact flavor formulas, a universal target temperature or a fixed broth-to-tare ratio.
The Steam store description confirms these quality factors alongside noodle texture and service time. For the currently verified menu, Tantanmen can generate orders with chicken, pork or beef broth. The unlock guide gives the confirmed order thresholds without treating them as preparation instructions.
Why can I carry several tare bottles but not pour from the stack?
The Day 1 patch allows carrying up to five tare bottles together, while pouring tare into ramen requires holding only one. Treat the larger stack as a way to move bottles between work areas. At the bowl, use a single bottle so the pouring interaction meets the documented condition.
The official update also explains the information shown for stacked objects:
| Bottle situation | Documented rule | Practical check |
|---|---|---|
| Moving tare bottles | Up to five may be carried together | Use the stack for moving stock |
| Pouring tare into ramen | Hold only one bottle | Set other bottles down before pouring |
| Reading a stack’s display | The top item’s remaining amount and condition are shown | Do not assume the display describes every bottle |
| Removing bottles with different amounts | A remaining-amount mix-up was fixed | Check the bottle you actually take next |
The top-item display rule also applies to Spicy Miso bottles, mugs and drinks. A stack is therefore not evidence that all its contents have equal amounts or the same condition.
For an orderly station, an editorial routine is to move a batch to the preparation area, set it down, select the required bottle and check its displayed amount. This avoids confusing a transport convenience with a multi-bottle pouring operation.
What changed about ingredient information and Tantan Tare?
The launch patch corrected purchase-screen displays that showed eggs and pork belly with zero umami and aroma, and added missing values for Tantan Tare. It also added a comment for ramen made with Tantan Tare alone. These changes improve feedback; the announcement does not disclose the underlying ingredient values.
If an older screenshot shows those zero or missing values, use the current in-game display rather than copying the old screen into a recipe. A comment on tare alone also does not reveal the other ingredients or portions needed for a successful bowl. Read the actual order and response.
For a critic challenge, this distinction matters: aroma and umami are relevant, but a list of official factors does not prove a guaranteed winning combination. Keep notes on feedback and adjust a relevant ingredient rather than chasing an unsupported total.
What can I safely leave in the refrigerator at closing?
The patch states that refrigerator contents, including ingredients and dishes, persist at the end of the day even with the door open. It separately protects food on the food sample shelf. These are specific storage rules; they do not establish that every finished bowl or loose ingredient survives anywhere in the shop.
As an editorial closing habit, put supplies in their intended storage, check which bottle you will take first next shift and keep the preparation surface usable. The solo cleaning guide covers dishes and staff duties. Avoid using the refrigerator tutorial’s exclusions as a general rule for what survives overnight.
